This play may of been written nearly 400 years ago but it is incredibly addictive and interesting . It is one of the best or best plays ever written. It is based in the city of ‘Illirya’ and from my point of view the main character is Viola /Cesario who descised herself as a man.

Twelfth Night was written by William Shakespeare in 1601. Like many other Shakespeare books it is a Shakespearean comedy and includes a love triangle. It was definitely a joy to read and every time we stopped the whole class was desperate to read more.
Viola and her brother Sebastian were separated in a deadly shipwreck and ended up alone in the confusion that the other was dead. Viola disguised herself as a man and worked for Count Orsino whom she grew to love. On the other side, Countess Olivia fell in love with Viola/Cesario thinking she was a man.

This book was great to read and it brought me tears of joy and sadness.
